Ultimately, I’m a creator. It’s what I love to do. I love to create. Whether it’s a short little video, a song, or just to write about my life. I have always enjoyed helping others through creativity, so if by sharing my life experiences, writing a good song, and creating a quick video does that, then I’m all in.
I’m a Writer and a Blogger
I have always been very good at using my words to express my feelings. My posts aren’t always structured well and I tend to just write, but I like that. It’s me. If you can follow what I’m trying to say in a post that doesn’t follow a clear path or structure, then you get it. If you can’t, well, I hope you get something out of it at least.
Sharing who I am with words gives me the opportunity to speak my thoughts without having to stop in the middle of a conversation, to think about what I’m going to say. That is what writing gives me. It gives me time.
I’m a Musician
Music has always been a part of my life. I grew up in first and second grade doing the N’sync “Bye, Bye, Bye” dance in my room and wanting to be a pop star. I grew up watching family members play different instruments and singing.
Music is very much like writing in that it is a way for people to express themselves. Sometimes writing a blog or a short story isn’t enough to tell what a person wants to share. They need music, melody, and a rhythm to make it all connect.
It is still a dream of mine to be famous for my music and write music and songs that inspire, but I have so much to do before I can start working towards that.
I’m a YouTuber
Well, technically, I’m not yet, but I will be. I love photography and video making. I enjoy creating a compelling visual art that readers, listeners, and viewers enjoy. Some people learn by reading (blogs), some people learn by doing (musician), some people learn visually (videos), and others learn by all or a combination of those.
Is It Too Much?
Some people may be asking if what I’m doing is too much. On top of the three adventures above, I work full-time, I’m a full-time graduate student, I’m taking piano, and vocal lessons, and I work out everyday. Yes, I’m busy but I know I can do it. I have the ability to focus on all of my dreams. Some days I may wonder why I’m doing this but then, I’ll remember, I’m doing it because I want to help others.
By being this trifecta of a creator, I can hope to touch the lives of as many people as I can. A little later, I will be posting my goals again, but this new post will have more detail and explain more of what I’m looking for out of each area. I will also define what success means to me in each area.
Thank you dearly for stopping by my blog, I greatly appreciate you using your time to read my content. Until next time!
