The Holidays and A New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

A quick pit stop from the Who Am I series. As you will continue to learn about my life, here is a brief look at how it is today and a hint or two at what I hope to accomplish. šŸ™‚

I work full-time for a university and since I recently started, I don’t really have a whole lot of vacation time. The time that I do have, I am saving because I want to do some fun things in 2019! So my trip home for Christmas was only a few days over the weekend. It was good to be home and see family but it’s a reminder of two things for me. First, I’m not big on family gatherings. I go so I can see everyone. Secondly, it’s a reminder of how alone I feel. I know, I know, someday when I least expect it, I will find companionship/love but until then, LET ME FEEL LONELY! Although, I’m not a big family gathering person, I like being around people that I know love me and support me in everything I do. Enough about my Christmas though.

This New Years, I stayed in and watched movies and had a few drinks to celebrate all that I’ve accomplished in 2018. I’ve never been able to successfully follow and/or “complete” a New Year’s Resolution but I’ve decided that I do have some goals I want to set, and a few resolutions I want to share anyways!

My goals for 2019

  • Start and Maintain This Blog – The Life as Ry
  • Plan & restart a my YouTube Channel
  • Release my First Ever EP Album

Resolutions to Uphold for 2019

  • Stick to a Workout Schedule
  • Improve my Music Performance With Practice and Lessons
  • Be Positive!

I may not be able to successfully complete all of the above goals and resolutions this year but maybe by putting it out there like this, I’ll have more motivation! If you want too, hit the contact me button or comment on the post to see where I am in the process of all of these or to show me some support! I know I’ll need it! šŸ™‚ I will be writing another post later that will include more details, plans, and what I define as successful in terms of these goals.

I hope whatever holiday(s) you celebrated, you had an incredible time, and I wish you all the best of luck in your journeys this year. May the odds be ever in your favor!
